The Ship
De Tukker was built in 1912 has sailed many seamiles as cargo ship and passenger vessel.
These days De Tukker can carry up to 70 cubic meters, or the equivalent of 50-70 tonnes, of cargo. And has basic accommodation for up to 12 travellers and 5 crew.
The Voyage
Sailing on the cargo vessel De Tukker from Scheveningen (NL) to Den Helder and participating in the Tall Ship event Sail Den Helder before continuing to Hartlepool (UK) for the Tall Ship races promises to be an exciting maritime adventure.

Den Helder, located in the northern part of the Netherlands, is a historic naval port. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Tall Ship event, Sail Den Helder. This event brings together a fleet of stunning tall ships from around the world, creating a spectacular sight to behold. You’ll be able to explore the other vessels, interact with their crews, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this maritime gathering.
After enjoying the festivities and the unique atmosphere of Sail Den Helder, it will be time to continue your voyage. Departing from Den Helder, De Tukker will embark on a journey across the North Sea, heading towards Hartlepool in the United Kingdom.
