De Tukker, a sailing cargo vessel with a rich history, was constructed in 1912 as a coastal trader. After decades of service, it underwent a transformation in the 1980s and became a renowned Dutch sail training vessel, providing valuable opportunities for disadvantaged youth until 2012. In 2022, the ship found a new purpose as part of the EcoClipper fleet. She now embarks on journeys across the North Sea, English Channel, Bay of Biscay, and Baltic Sea, transporting cargo and travellers. With a capacity of up to 70 cubic meters (or 50-70 tonnes) of cargo, De Tukker offers basic accommodation for 12 travellers and a crew of five. Equipped with 310 m2 sail, she continues her storied voyage into the future.
